Jackpot Round: THE 70's

Chelsea picks up the 1/2 CAR next to $900 right away w/ four R's and buys some vowels, but her third purchase of E purchase is no good; that's the only bad vowel of this puzzle. Second, Rich says T for terrible while on the other 1/2 CAR. Third, Kristin strikes out w/ S. Chelsea next buys an I, picks up the Carmel vacation w/ two M's and says the leftover U. Two spins later, though, she hits LAT to leave $8,640 cash and Carmel on the table. Rich follows suit w/ N and P singles, but he too gets LAT. Kristin then collects a $900 V, and keeps on going...only to get nailed by that evil white wedge. That allows Chelsea to solve...
